These high-quality carbon fiber 3K sheets come in various sizes, made from 100%, 3K plain weave, carbon fiber, and finished with a matt surface on both sides. Unlike many low-cost carbon sheets that are made by pressing two outer skins of carbon fiber over a carbon and resin core, these plates are made with layered sheets of carbon fiber and resin, making them the same strength all the way through.
3K Carbon Fiber:
3K is the workhorse of carbon fiber. It’s light, relatively stiff, and easy to get and make. 3K got higher elongation before failure and ultimate strength than 6K, 9K, or 12K. 3K means there are 3000 filaments per “tow”
These high-quality carbon fiber sheets come in various thicknesses, made from 100%, 3K woven carbon fiber, and finished with a glossy surface on both sides.
