Roll Wrapped Carbon Fiber Tube Silver Aluminized Twill Weave Gloss Finish – This carbon fiber tube uses a high-strength unidirectional equivalent carbon fiber core with an epoxy resin system to ensure a strong rigid tube that will meet your needs. In addition to this high-strength unicore, this tube is finished with a beautiful 2×2 twill weave Silver Aluminized Fiberglass and then given a gloss finish. Due to raw material constraints, it is hard to create pipes exactly at a specific measurement unless they are built over-sized and machined down so that is why our pipes may be a few thousandths off from the ideal measurement we are trying to match.
We offer many composite tubing varieties if this tube does not meet your needs. We offer pultruded materials in a round solid bar, pipe, and square bar/tubing. Upon special order, all of our unique fabrics can be converted into piping.
What is pullwinding process?
Pullwinding is an advanced pultrusion process to produce round tubes and profile tubes. Pullwinding technology gives the possibility to have accurate control of the crosswise and longitudinal properties of the final product by adjusting the amount of fibers lengthwise and crosswise. Pullwinding process enables the reduction of wall thickness and weight while retaining and improve stiffness and strength compared to conventional pultrusion.

Roll Wrapping:
The phrase ‘roll wrapped’ refers to the process used to manufacture these tubes. The prepreg carbon fibre is first laid up around a mandrel in multiple layers. Once the reinforcement is in place it is spiral-wrapped with heat-shrink tape before the whole assembly is oven cured.
