Low Thermal Conductivity 100% 3K Carbon Fiber High Gloss Woven Sheets
Carbon Fiber High Gloss Woven Sheets are manufactured using a proprietary Autoclave curing process produces the most consistent and highest quality gloss carbon fiber laminates possible. These laminates are cured at a high temperature and pressure. Unlike vacuum bagging, which only generates a maximum of 14 psi, this Autoclave process cures laminates at 100 psi and 275° F. This high gloss panel is an outstanding decorative laminate with a deep, glossy, three dimensional finish. These 1st quality panels are manufactured with a clear, resin-rich carbon pre-preg resulting in a smooth, low porosity laminate with a mirror-like finish. A clear coat is not necessary to enhance the surface appearance of this laminate.
What Are Carbon Fiber Sheets?
Carbon fiber sheets or composites are carbon fiber fabric infused with epoxy resins and then cured to become rigid. Sheets consist of multiple pieces of fabric and come in different sizes, thicknesses, and weaves. Sheets are flat, so they are typically useful on flat surfaces. The thicker the sheet is, the more rigid it becomes.
Each type of weave has distinct properties, uses, and appearance. Some weaves are stable but less pliable. Others are elegant but not strong.
