Carbon Fiber Rods and Tubes

Our carbon fiber rods and tubes are manufactured by methods of “Pultrusion” as well as “Roll wrapping” of carbon fibers and epoxy resin to a desired diameter/cross-section to form a densely reinforced carbon composite.

Pultrusion is a highly automated process of continuously pulling carbon fiber composites mixed with resin matrix through heated forming dies. Through this process, continuous lengths of rods and tubes with constant cross-sections are created in the shape of the die.

Roll-wrapped composites are produced using multiple wraps of carbon fiber prepregs in many different weave types. Roll-wrapped products are available in multiple surface textures (like twill weave, plain weave, etc.) with gloss and matte finish.

Pultruded in an epoxy resin, LIJIN Carbon Fiber pultruded tubes are exceptionally straight and rigid and are the ideal building material for a wide range of projects including frames, trusses, and for use as reinforcing material. Because tubes are fundamental building blocks, they find great utility in the building of engineering and high-performance structures and work well in concert with LIJIN Carbon Fiber Laminate.
